My crocus are blooming and we also got snow. Mother Natures' way of saying April Fools Day.

Our daffodils starting blooming two weeks ago, and the trees and bushes all had buds on them. Since then, we've had the snow storm, heavy frosts, etc. Poor, poor flowers, trees, and bushes.

:-( I guess the Ice Witch is back in Narnia. Our average temp for today is 65. Last night we broke the record for cold and it only got up to 35 today. Weird spring! It was spitting snow again an hour ago.

My daffodils are looking sad out in the snow. The forecast has more snow and cold this week. I'm so ready to get out and work in the yard.

I think lots of us are in the same boat --- I'm in MO Kansas City Metro and I should have my cool weather garden planted. nope not yet this year.

I’m in Odessa, not far from you. Cold broke another record last night and they’re still calling for 60% chance of 3” of snow Friday. Oyveh!

Sorry I get you and I think it's hippagrammy mixed up on where you live. Johanne we should get together some day this summer. Thursday 60's and back into snow and another cold weekend. Dang I want to work in the yard won't be home tomorrow until nearly 7 with a physical therapy appt. after work.

I agree! We’ve been connecting for years online and we’re only minutes away from each other. I think you once said you used to come out to that little dirt track out in Grain Valley. They’re still calling for 16 degrees Friday night and 3” of snow. That would be the third cold record broken in a week, but I just carried my groceries in, in shirt sleeves. CRAZY!

What a beautiful afternoon!! Did not get to enjoy it going from work to physical therapy. Just some time with the windows down in the car. Home in time to feed the chickens and time to do some dinner and will be in bed shortly. Violas are pretty as are pansies that like the cold. Enjoy them. I need to plant some one of these days. Mud runs. out somewhere that way. Less than 30 minutes apart I think with little traffic (here in the city).
