Yesterday, I hit a crossroads.

I ate almost perfectly clean for most of the day. At dinner, I ate a banana, 1 Miller Lite beer while my wife cooked my dinner.
I had 9 ounces of lean top sirloin steak, 6 sautéed mushrooms, 1 small bowl of romaine lettuce with 2 ounces of Mezzetta Roasted peppers and a drizzle of vinegar.
It was excellent!
My daughter who is a dancer, made a DeGiorno Pizza and it looked awesome...the entire time I was eating my dinner, I was staring at that pizza. There was plenty for me and typically I would eat 3/4's of it while also eating my own dinner.
So, what did I do? I finally relented and grabbed a big portion and took a bite. Then another bite, and finally ...a 3rd bite.
I put it down and resolved that I had had enough! It was good...especially when you are trying not to eat worthless carbs, but it wasn't good enough to sabotage my goals.
I kept thinking... 3 months from now, you will thank yourself!
Let's do this!
