"Day 4. No hunger at all. Can't say I have any cravings. In fact thinking of eating any of my trigger foods from before (ie: bread, pizza, chips) just doesn't sound appealing.
Been just barely into ketosis 15mg/dl at times, but weight is dropping nonetheless. Being on insulin is probably not helping my fat burning, but it hasn't hampered it too much. Biggest challange is adjusting my basal rate to keep from having low blood sugars.
Since I am eating very little carbs, my boluses have been miniscule compared to before, even when I was trying to restrict my carbs on my own. Basal to Bolus ratio is around 75/25.
My first attempt at exercise (Treadmill 40min)on program didn't work too well as my blood sugar went low during the night and I had to take glucose to get it back to normal. I will try exercising earlier in the day and maybe dropping my basal rate during and for a couple of hours after.""
