Yvonne, we definitely need it. We're in drought mode. My neighbor's would call in the guys in white jackets if I did a rain dance! LOL!

Stef, we have been getting off and on drizzles all day. It's chilly and I've turned on the heat for the first time this year. My critters just jump with the thunder. There's an 80% chance of rain tonight and then the first freeze tomorrow night. I'll have to get all my plants in tomorrow. Love you!!!

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE thunder and lightening storms. Unfortunately wild fires are also included sometimes. Hope you get some nice rain! ♥

Hope you got all your plants in...mine are residing in the garage right now, until we can get them moved across the street to baby sis' sunroom...they like to winter over there...it is a plant vacation! lol

Wow I haven't heard thunder in awhile. Sounds nice when it's not here. There has been frost for some time. Now I'm more concerned about the white stuff coming down. BUT today is suppose to be abnormally warm. It's been a great October so far. Dreading winter.

Ruby, in my part of the country wild fires are VERY rare and never go far. We only got a little drizzle. The next day the ground was completely dry. Bah!

Stef, I moved them in last night. Fortunately (or unfortunately) they were so dry that the really large ones weren't to heavy for me to roll. The end of my studio room faces south and is mostly glass (it was originally a garage) so that's were mine vacation for the winter.

Me, it was just thunder . . . a big tease. We got our first frost last night and are getting our first hard freeze tonight. I finally had to give in yesterday afternoon and close my bedroom window. I do so miss fresh air at night. We've also had a lovely, if dry, October and like you, I am so dreading winter. Stef, I know it's your favorite time of year, but I just feel so shut in and cold. I hate the constant dark. Give me daylight savings time any time! LOL!

We need the rain too and we just turned our heat on last night. I love the windows open and fresh air too, hate to close it all up for the winter. I'm totally with you Johanne!

Yeah. I'm not real happy about it. I set the heat for 64, but I'm in an earth contact (when I was a kid we called them basements . . . LOL) so the heat hasn't dropped below 68 even though it got below freezing last night. Christy, are you on the KS or MO side of KC?
