Up in Edinburgh for a long weekend with my daughter. Drove all the way to Glasgow on horrible weather to the vegfest. It was really good. Wish we had listened to a few more of the talks but the bands were playing quite loud so it was a bit difficult to concentrate.
Yesterday we went downtown and had afternoon tea at casa Angelina. Awesome vegan selection. Afterwards we perused the Xmas market and wandered along the royal mile admiring the street of lights.
This morning we walked to the beach. If the tide had been lower we could have walked across to Cramond island. We took the bus back and now we are chilling for a bit before we venture out again. Glad the rain is staying away.
