That's all I wanted this weekend. I live where no one makes it, and I didn't want to cook a whole corned beef (no one else I know here eats it ) :( Glad you enjoyed

Ginsin, it's so easy to make in a crockpot. I bought a small one (2.5 lbs.) & it made enough for 2 with some left over.

This is sooooo ‘newfie’ Sherry. My growing up roots called ‘Jiggs dinner.’ Google it. I challenge you to do a Newfoundland version. lol. My favorite is ‘cooked dinner’ though with chicken, or roast and gravy. 😋😋😋😋

I make my own Eastern Style Grey Corned Beef... I don't use the Sodium Nitrite (Cure #2), which is what gives it the bright pink colour. Turns out fabulous, using local pasture fed Beef Brisket.
