Been away for a while. Don’t want to weigh in until I lose some weight. Is that bad? Time for another push to my original goal…. This is such a struggle. Stress is always the excuse.

It’s not bad. Do what works best for you. It is your journey, after all. That said, weighing in now might help by giving you a concrete starting point to make progress from. And for me, nothing motivates like progress. But you know you best…if you think it will bring on negativity, wait. 😎

When I avoid the scale it always goes the other way. When I just bite the bullet and weigh myself it gives me to motivation to smarten up and stop pretending or ignoring what I am doing. Ultimately you need to do what is going to mentally get you going!

Welcome back. Wish you all the best moving forward regardless of the decision you make to weigh or not. It’s a great first step.

Facing the scale is my important first step to change. When I don’t weigh it is avoiding the truth, but that’s just me. It’s important to do what works for you.

I never weigh in. I get too attached to the number. since May I have lost a whopping 2 kg 🤦‍♀️ even with regular swimming and walking. As long as all my other numbers are where they should be I'm OK. Managing stress is the biggest factor for my weight. FS is great for mindful eating.

Depends on your reason for avoiding the scale. My reason is generally avoiding the truth. I faced the scale 10 days ago because I was seeing my doctor 5 days after that. My road to successful weight control has always been tracking the numbers which include daily calories, weekly weight and blood pressure and watching cholesterol and blood sugar. Numbers don’t let me lie to myself. You do what works for you.
