Nikina70's Journal, 26 Apr 23

This afternoon I did:
Kaleigh Cohen Strength - METABOLIC CONDITIONING [30 min Full Body Dumbbell Workout]
Followed by:
jessicasmithtv - How to Get (and Stay!) Motivated: A 1-Mile #Walk + Talk
And then:
Well With Hels - Yoga for HEALTHY SPINE Mindful movement for the spine

I'm only able to fit this in before lunch time because work is quiet right now and a friend of mine called to tell me how much pain she is in today. Makes me realise how lucky I am that I have no pain, that I have such a flexible schedule and that I woke up feeling physically and mentally well today - it is not always that way and I am so grateful! I do feel for anyone suffering with ill health, pain or migraines and I do hope you'll find a solution and have it resolved.

I'm hoping to get a good walk in tomorrow and then another workout on Friday or over the weekend. I realise I said a similar thing last weekend and then did nothing, but such is life. At least I started this week well and am on my second day of working out so that is an improvement on last week and all these little bits count. We're also doing a 4-5 mile walk on Sunday with a Meetup group if the weather's good.

Even if my weight stays the same this week I know I'm taking small strides towards being stronger and fitter. I bought a size 10 dress to wear to my niece's confirmation at the end of the month and I want to feel comfortable in it on the day so that is keeping me very focused right now. It's also basically 4 weeks to the start of summer and that's incentive too!

Hope you're all having a lovely Wednesday! xxx

Thank you Booty! I am so sorry that you have to endure such pain. You are so strong and determined though and you inspire me to get out there and get things done even if conditions are not the best. Hope you're having a good week! xxx
