This morning I did:
Funk Roberts - 30 Minute Upper Body Dumbbell Workout - Build Muscle - Burn Fat

Followed by:
Daniela Suarez - 7 MIN STRETCHING EXERCISES AFTER WORKOUT (New) | FULL BODY COOL DOWN FOR RELAXATION & FLEXIBILITY

My first workout for the week. Thought I'd do upper body since I've done full body workouts all of last week - managed 4 in total from Sunday to Friday ranging from 20 to 30 minutes. Haven't really had time to post them here, but I'm glad I got them done. Will then do a nice leg workout later in the week maybe with 7.5kg weights again. I used 6.5kg lately and have had to alternate on some things, but that's fine.

Had a few good 45 minute walks and a couple of 90 minute ones too, but I would like to get to the level where I'm out there every day again.

Increasing protein has not really happened yet. Still averaging around 70g a day and I'm meant to be aiming for 84g - so I need to have a think about that. I did buy some Pea Protein powder on a deal at Grape Tree - 2 x 500g for only 8 quid, which I thought was a bargain. 83g protein per 100g. So far not hating the texture either - in my oats with soya yoghurt it is great. Maybe I just need a bigger scoop of it - started with 20g. Or, I was considering finding a low calorie high protein bar of some sort that is not too expensive or horribly artificial/sweet tasting. But, I don't have time right now to look into that either.

Have not hit my calorie goals either - my daily average for the last two weeks was 2038 and 2028. If I could get that down to 1750 or so I know I'd be losing well, but I just still can't manage it. Please - no advice or ideas needed. I know what I need to do - I just need to do it. For now, I am ok with just tracking consistently and seeing what happens. Still two week of summer to go.

Have a great week everyone! xxx

Thank you SherryeB!💕 I hope it's out there in both our countries. Please post if you find one!👍 There seem to be so many filled with junk - and then the really good ones are way too expensive for my budget. I may end up looking for a recipe instead.😊

Hi Nikki. 💕 I hope you doing well and reaching each of your goals. How's the protein increase coming along? Are you still using the pea protein? Just wondering. Hope you're having good days and enjoying your walks. 😊👍

Hi Becca!💕 Thanks for checking in on me! I hope you are doing well!!! I have been doing ok, but taking what feels like another prolonged break from tracking and engaging on the app again. Work has been a bit hectic lately so I've let it be my excuse for many things slipping. I have continued to use the pea protein in my oats, but I think I was still only reaching just under 70g/day when I was tracking. I believe I need to have around 84g/day, but still not sure how I would achieve that just now. I think I will start tracking on Monday again, but it is a bank holiday weekend here and although I'm working on Monday anyway I might just carry on as I have for a other week before I try to do four weeks of a solid return to what I know I need to do. I saw on one of your recent posts that you're travelling to spend some time with darling Emilou (apologies if my spelling is way off) soon so I wonder if you're there already or on your way. I hope you have a lovely time! She is just too adorable and I will look out for some of the pics I hope you'll post. Keep well!🤗💕

Nikki, taking breaks is a healthy thing to do. I get tired of tracking and weighing from time to time, especially if you have a lot going on. Yes, we are already back from watching Emmylou, but we will be back with her in about 3 weeks. 💕 Getting enough protein can be a challenge. 😕 I hope you find the right food and numbers that you are happy with regarding your protein. 👍💕
