serious chat with trainer today about how to avoid further injury on my shoulder but get back into training. we're going to start incorporating a few new things tomorrow because it's all been very inconsistent this year. had no idea this injury would take so long to heal.

I changed my profile to private recently because it felt like there is nobody on here I really know any more and some extremely strong opinions in some comments talking down and people, and it makes me stressed out. But I am still here plodding along 😉

Ah Jepes! I was looking for you on my following list now it makes sense. I completely get what you saying. What I tend to find is there are a ton of new faces beginning of the year, and like you say string opinions... Towards the end of the year it's the golden oldies 🤣🤣🤣

Jespes sorry - iPhone autocorrect 🥴

Jespes.... I 100% agree. I've been finding some posts a bit triggers for me and sort of keeping to myself... But like Waist away I am also scrolling to look for my circle and to check in on all the old faves. I'm still here. Still doing my thing. The food game / head game / injury situation this year has made me feel a bit more gaurded. But soooooo nice to see some messages from you today.

Shame I hope it heals soon, it's been a long time now x

Ugh. Ja. The physio said it could take up to 6 months if I rest it. But it's so hard to rest a shoulder, especially since it's my mouse arm ... But my trainer was really great and we've found a good variety of alternative exercises that will keep me off my shoulder. Unfortunately it means still no boxing for while. But would rather that than injury persisting

Ah Shereen I also remember how much you enjoy your boxing! Really hoping it heals quicker than anticipated ❤️ Waistaway, maybe I’ll change back to followers only and clean out my followers list. You are right, at the end of the year we will still be here plodding away 😆😆 I think I struggle not to get bummed when people who have lost 5kgs their way enforce their opinions so strongly and if I hear ‘everything in moderation’ once more 🤣🤣 but I am majorly conflict avoidant in real life too 😉

So good to hear I am not the only one getting irritated with some of the comments. Shereen - what is “mouse arm”? 🙈

Chris, I’m also relieved 😆 I thought it was just me!!

@Jespes - Lol that's exactly it. Or someone who is 2 weeks in complaining that they only lost 2kg this week and so they're feeling demotivated 🤪

I'm being way too judgemental now myself - sorry guys

Maybe- but it did make me giggle 😜😜

Hahahaha ok. Mouse arm. Not a medical description.. but I'm a graphic designer by day and it's my right shoulder that is injured... So working with my arm holidng a mouse all day causes huge discomfort. And fully agree with the comments. I'd rather not comment on some posts but I do a lot of eye rolling from the comfort of my couch. The long haul journey is very different from the one I thought I was going to be on. Last year I lost barely 2kg... And honestly was one of my best weight years. Because it proves this is now my lifestyle... Does not happen over night!

felt soo good to see your post @Jespes. This reply section feelslike a reunion now all that's missing is @Kaapsekind. I've also felt weary of posting lately but i hope what @WaistAway87 said comes true soon so the FS fam can feel as welcoming as it used to.
