I'm a little tear-y. I lost my Remi today. He was just short of 17 yrs old. He's been on a speedy, down hill for the last week and a half. He was my dear companion and playmate and I will miss him terribly. He will no longer be here to guard me from that abominable mailman!

Oh, Bonnie!! I am soooo sorry! Losing one of our furbabies is such a traumatic thing and the grief can be overwhelming! Much love and lots of hugs to you, sweet friend!

HM, Remington Steele was a Yorkie. He thought he was a wolfhound. Stef, thanks. He will be my last dog. I'm not physically or financially able to have another. I keep thinking what an adorable puppy he was and what a great old guy, with all the wonderful years in between. I wish I had taken more pictures over the years.

oh johanne - I am really really sorry. I hate to think you will be alone. My two furkids, Hermione and Carson, mean everything to me, and I hope we will have many more years together. I know you will mourn Remi for a long time to come, and I hope your memories are some comfort to you.
