Happy Tuesday folks,
Yesterday, my wife was still suffering from an allergic reaction to the new laundry detergent, She was headed to our doctor, who I avoid with a passion only eclipsed by my passion for onion rings!
So...while she was there I got a lump in my neck checked and they weighed me and did my blood pressure. Voila!
I also have High Blood Pressure, 157/97, in addition to my A-fib, Arthritis and obesity.
Oh yea...I am a poster child for the pathetic.
Anyway, now I am on a high blood pressure medicine and daily blood pressure checking, so I got that working for me!
The good news is I am headed south with regards to my weight.

I absolutely feel ya. High BP and adding a 2nd BP med drove me here last fall. My BP was like 167 over a lot. I started amlodipine on top of lisinopril. Now the amlodipine is history and my BP was 110/71 on 8/31. You can do this. As you lose serious weight, it's like you're Sherman and Mr. Peabody in the way back machine. You go back in time and discover a younger and healthier you. Worth every bit of the struggle. Do it man.
