Having one of those days! Feeling crapped on. My coworker that always runs with me on lunch time is too busy these days to go with me. So, I still go but it's more enjoyable with someone else at your side. It doesn't help either that last week we had to move to new cubicles in our office building at work. We were in a back out of the way spot and now we're in the wide open in new style desks. Someone commented that the desks looked like horse stalls. Just missing the boxstall door!! Well, I would really like to have the door! Not liking it. It makes me feel self conscious too that when I come back from the run that I can't stretch properly - too many people around to watch or make comments!! And there are more departments of people moving. So the privacy that we had is gone and we're in this big fish bowl.

Anyway, that's how it's for me these days! Like I said, I'm still running but not stretching properly, still tracking my calories and trying to keep it real. Just not a happy camper at work.

Go stretch in the bathroom stall or the stair well.

Ugh, don't think I would like that whole 'open office' trend - sharing desks and whatnot. I wouldn't like a cubicle either.

I hope it gets better! I agree with Mighty, is there somewhere else to stretch? Do the people in the office know you're running? If so, they probably wouldn't be surprised to see you stretch, so you can probably do some of the (not super embarassing) stretches at your desk. Or, make sure you get a good stretch session when you get home.

Maybe you could do some stretching in a bathroom first even?... sorry for your loss of privacy. That would bother anyone. :( Glad you are sticking to your exercise though. It is hard to find people who will stay committed to exercising with you in my experience.
