Arrrgh... camping weekend. Beer. Chips. Burgers. Irish Coffee. Ribs. Don’t want to look at a scale today..

But, today back at it. 30 min on eliptical and some light weight training.. and a modest breakfast, so back on the horse.

Don’t sweat the weekend, we need to have lives, enjoy life and kick back occasionally.

Thanks - you’re right. And I’ve been here before.. the trick is not to go, “screw it”.. but to get back to the discipline needed to eat healthy for the long run.. so bowl of papaya for breakfast!

Great mentality! I think some of us (myself included) have had this impression that once we got our goal weight it will be easy to just maintain.... even slim people I know who indulge over a weekend will gain a pound or two, they just revert to healthy eating to get back on track. Learning those habits now is important I think, that you will have moments to celebrate and you may gain a pound or two, but if you’re being healthy 95% of the time it will all balance out 🙂

Worst part is how hungry you'll be for a couple days after you get back on the diet. In the end a weekend of BBQ won't do much. Hope you had fun and glad to hear you're back on pace!

I indulge every weekend but M-F is moderation. Weigh-in Fridays. It’s slower progress but still works.
