i have soccer tonight! yahoooo! i played two weeks ago. first game since fall of 2000 when i was a senior in HS. my legs were sore until a couple days ago. we only had 11 players show up so we all played the entire game. it was a shock to the system but i love it again! in fact i am thinking of canceling my gym membership to save $ since i am only going at most 2x per week and now one of those nights (for zumba) is my soccer night. i may try to get on another team to play more during the week and i want to set up a workout space in my basement. my friend just got the jillian michaels new dvds and i might get them too. i am just not enjoying the gym much these days aside from zumba but i can do drop ins at a few places in town. working out is good! but i just cant get into the elliptical much anymore...

Yeah you could take that gym membership money and probably set up your own home gym pretty cheap. Elliptical is my fav machine but I change up cardio on it to keep it interesting and I mix in the spin bike for 30 mins so I don't get bored. Between Zumba and soccer you should get some good cardio done during the week.

Thanks for the support! I have a hand me down mini elliptical in my basement and I think it would be nice to have a yoga mat set up and some small weights, nothing major. I used to go to a local gym I LOVED - I was going no problem at least 5 times per week but I switched to LA Fitness due to moving and it sucks. I love spin class but I don't like the bikes at LA. I have logged many a hour on the elliptical and it's nice but I haven't found myself motivated to go for that. For the last several months I only go to Zumba 2x per week. Not really worth $40 now that one of those nights is soccer! And now that I am on one team, it will be easier to find other teams/days to play but I sprained my quad last night. I need to strengthen and lengthen my muscles - not used to swift intense movements!
