aggie95's Journal, 08 Jan 14

I've been MIA for a bit but now really...I've still been reading a few journals. I've been lacking on the tracking...

Work has been a bit frigid. The heating unit gave up the ghost last week. So, I've been working from home and there are different distractions at home then at work. Like, for one, the fridge and pantry are accessible all day long. And with coming off of Christmas holidays and all the snacky foods still around, well, let's just say that's one reason for not tracking. Also, with working at home, I don't have my coworker to get out with and go for a run. Don't want to either because it's been way to cold and windy. Not to mention the roads are not safe to run on.

Oh well, I made in to work today and my coworker came in too and we made it out for a run. It's cold today again but not as bad and the sun is shining. Feel much better after that run! I feel back in the game and eating better too. Just gotta keep up with this!

I hear you! I haven't been tracking like I should either, or exercising. I'm glad you got your run in! Hopefully if you can keep going in to work you'll get back to the routine. Good luck!

You are so right. I quit tracking, then quit exercising, and bam 10 lbs back on. So frustrating and discouraging and no one to blame but myself. We gotta get back on track and hold one another accountable.

I hate winter for those exact reasons. Thank goodness for my treadmill. But I will say I squeeze more exercise in when it is cold. During the summer I just want to have fun with my kids.

I managed to get on the treadmill on Monday. I have one at home. But it hasn't been working properly. I got it to go though on Monday and got a good half hour in. Somehow though, I like getting outside and running with my friend. I feel more challenged by her and the elements!

Aggie, 1 foot in front of the other and 1 day at a time. You know what your doing, you know how to get there and you will get back on track. No worries. Everyone has off days, the holidays seem to give us an excuse to goof off for a bit but now that Jan is here it's time we all said enough. It's wayyyy to cold outside girl, give me the treadmill and DVD's to do in this crazy weather.

You can do it Aggie95! Just take it one step at a time, one meal at a time, one day at a time. :)

No worries, just be coming to FS I think helps us get back on track. You know how to do this. When I worked at home and the fridge was too close I made a habit of just making a cup of tea instead. I think it helped a bit. Have a great day.
