•Dinner of butter chicken
•Baked orange/cherry scones and made butter to gift to neighbors. They loved it, it tastes like dry sugarless cake to me.

That looks good and homemade butter I made some in a jar one day very hard worker looks of shaking but it tasted better than any butter I ever tasted

maybe a bit more milk/cream? add a hint of sweet and kill the dry. Looks good though

Ningishzida, when I read it it reminded me of when I was so desperate to lose weight that I was adhering to diet culture methods. It was unhealthy, now I know better. Thank you❣️

This is pretty timely for me. My loss has stalled - it hasn't, I'm just not tracking as tightly - and I found myself reverting back to eating habits and "diet" things that just left me repeating the same cycle of bingeing and restricting. That sucks. So I'm back to tracking and being more mindful. Thank you. <3

Moopie - I've switched from the left column to the right in my WOE/exercise, and it feels much more organic and easier to stay in line. I do useful walks now (trips to the grocery store may take 2 walks, since I can only buy what I can carry in bags on my shoulders) instead of the time/measured walks that were specifically for exercise. Counting calories can become an obsession, so I'd rather just trim my portion sizes. I cook from scratch, but most of the time I'll just have fresh fruit. Your approach works -- it just takes restraint on the plated portions. A true lifestyle, and not a diet!

Congratulations, it takes time to change our habits, especially bad ones ! I hope I'll successfully change my own unhealthy habits one day, just like you did !

“Eat a donut & move the F on”. Love it! 🤣

I’ve been guilty of letting one donut trip me up for months, Gibjig 😆😆😆

I adore scones! I totally agree with the diet example on the right. The one on the left sets you up for failure! Been there, done that!

🐻, we learn from our mistakes and keep moving forward❣️ leaving diet mentality with the disaster that is 2020.
