I am super sick. My COVID test came back negative. Everyone else's came back negative so this looks like a garden variety of sinus infection that's doing the usual thing (for me) of turning into bronchitis.
But at least it isn't COVID.

I have a massive wholesale order to finish today. Plus my usual packaging, mailing out, etc.

My weight is static which is good because I haven't had much of an appetite so I'm just eating whatever appeals to me when it does.

I tried the Beyond Meat breakfast sausage and was absolutely grossed out - but I'm not sure if that's being sick or just the Beyond Meat stuff.

I hope everyone is doing well.

Hope you feel better soon, Atriel!! ❣️❣️❣️I bet the recent smoke irritated your sinuses. And I agree about that line of product. I prefer field roast or light line meat alternatives (even though I eat meat too).

I love the Field Roast stuff and there's another company called No Evil that I like even more. The biggest problem with all of the meat analog things for me is that I'm doing WFPB which is vegan, no added oil or sugar. And Field Roast/ Impossible / Beyond Meat all have added oils and sugars. It's not the biggest deal but it does cause issues. We are very close to the Bobcat Fire and while we aren't currently under an evacuation warning, I'm pretty worried that we will be. And yes, I'm 100% sure that the smoke and bad air quality irritated my already pretty delicate respiratory system. Have you heard of Follow Your Heart? They make Vegenaise and a ton of dairy alternatives. I found out last week that they're a local company and that they have had a cafe in LA since 1970. I wish I was a bigger fan of their products.

Get better. I hated the Beyond Meat and thought I had food poisoning after eating 1/2 burger. Threw the package away. It's oily and gross. So many better for you products already out there. Beyond Meat is market hype. Take care of yourself.

Praying you’ll stay safe from the Bobcat fire! Yes I’ve tried that veganaise. It has a slight off taste to me. The dairy free products I like is Daiya. And “so delicious” brand DF yogurt- can’t get enough of that!
