Just finished an 11,000km coast to coast motorcycle tour so some bad food eventually got to me.

I had a chance to experience first hand the COVID restrictions across the country and have the following to report:

BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba - For the most part participation in the economy is possible without a mask however it depends on the establishment.

Ontario, Quebec - Participation in the economy not possible without a mask.

Maritimes - Admittance not possible without a making prior arrangements with the Government of New Brunswick. Note that I did not make prior arrangements which resulted in being escorted out of the province by a police officer.

With this in mind, I will not be traveling again past Manitoba for any reason until all restrictions have been lifted...participation in the economy is simply too much of a hassle.

Thanks for the first hand report. How does the populace differ in their view of Covid across the country?

In BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan & Manitoba people seem more relaxed while people in Ontario & Quebec seem way more stressed out. In Ontario & Quebec I spent alot of time in grocery store parking lots when getting groceries (restaurants just seemed to be too much of a hassle). One of the things I noticed was that the poor people coming and going seemed fed up or desperate in some way. Drive up, fish the mask out of their pocket and put it on, go get groceries, take the mask off, drive away...you could tell they just putting the mask on because they needed food even if the mask was being used for the 20th time. I can't help thinking that the govts response to COVID may be worse than the disease itself...there has got to be some kind of psychological fallout to all this. Anyway...I am just happy to be back home in BC.

I know you didn’t make it to Nova Scotia, but we are fully masked. No admittance to indoor public spaces without one.

Guess I need to move to BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan or Manitoba. I'm so sick of these masks. The government response is far worse then the so called plandemic. Thanks for sharing your experience! 😊

Tell that to the dead, those grieving the dead, those that lived and are permanently damaged. I am sick of brain dead people.

I live in New Brunswick and I am glad to see that the authorities are doing their job. Yes we were masks and this is why we currently only have 2 active cases in the province, and these 2 cases are foreign workers. So thank you for not entering our province if you did not live here.

Oooh, so much anger in the responses. It's like talking about politics. Just get along everyone. Wow....
