Good morning!

We are going for a hike today. I'm not confident enough in other people yet to really be okay with relaxing my personal social distancing today.

I batch cook tomorrow. I've found it easier to stay on plan if I batch cook on Sunday with a plan for the week. And prepping any fruits or veggies that I'm going to juice or turn into smoothies makes my day go a great deal faster.

Because of COVID and my immune system, we won't be attending any LA Pride events this year and I won't be able to give out mom hugs which makes me incredibly sad.

I watched a thing on emotional weight or the emotions that we haven't let go of that cause us to be unable to lose weight.
It sounds so hippie-dippie - but I think there's some truth to the premise of past trauma or guilt manifesting in our bodies as extra weight that we don't let go of.
Of course, extra doughnuts do too. ;)

enjoy your hike. i can definitely relate to not feeling fully confident to get out there - but definitely with any immune system issue, better to remain on the safe side of this.

Atriel12. I am one that can attest to the emotional end of weight loss. To get where i am today it has been a journey of facing down those demons from the past to be able to feel good about myself. Hence non food/ exercise posts of mine because much is self esteem. They flair back in then but this journey has taught me ways to cope without being destructive to my health for long. Enjoy your hike. I am not confident about people yet either with covid.

@WholeFoodNut - It's an interesting thing when you start looking at things from a "wholistic" view. A friend of mine told me to start equating making good food and exercise choices as the ultimate self-care. Which eventually shifted to, "Why don't I love myself enough to NOT eat an entire sleeve of Oreos that I know is going to do nothing but make me feel bad?" It started a slow change that eventually led to a physical shift in my body. @Najwa - She's a gremlin but honestly, the sweetest thing.

Enjoy your hike❣️ Stay safe❣️💞💞💞 Are those the kind of cats that are allergy free?

@moopie: She's a Devon Rex and yes, a lot of people find them hypoallergenic. This one was rescued from a breeder and used in a movie before coming to us so she's a little neurotic but crazy smart and super sweet. I kind of live in a menagerie. 🙂 One day I'll tell you about the day I got to pet a penguin.

Looking forward to hearing your story❣️You are right again and again. Let go of toxicity and replace it with beauty: beautiful people, food that feed your soul and positive vibes. Namaste, atriel❣️

Precious!!!!!🙂, I have a Maine Coone Cat.

@Maine Coon - I love Maine Coones. They have such great personalities and they're such gentle giants. My grandmother had one that lived to 13. @Moopie - There's a great Ted Talk out there about fuck bucks and where you choose to spend them. I don't waste fuck bucks on cliques, or mean girls, or time wasters. There are so many things going on in the world that it's a luxury and a privilege to sit around whining on a diet app about nothing of import or worth at all. I envy that privilege but I don't seek to emulate it. It's all shallow and I spend my time with depth and intelligence and people that are actually making their communities and the world a better place. Namaste, Moopie. Have a beautiful weekend.❣️
