aggie95's Journal, 21 Jun 13

Well, no change with the scale but I know the reason why...carrot cake! And there is still some left in my fridge. But on a good note, I stayed away yesterday from the cake and manage to stay at my RDI of 1500 calories. I've started incorporating my exercises into my routine too and then perhaps I'm building muscle and we all know that muscle weighs more the fat!

Busy weekend - we have hay to do tonight! Tomorrow there is a festival in town with a tractor pull which my son will love to see! And then it will be Sunday and we are having dinner with my parents. I'd like to get some gardening too this weekend! I still have to get my annuals! I'm soo behind this year!

Cheers and here's hoping everyone has a good weekend!

Yummy cake and I know it. I made a home made pistachio cake for my husband's birthday. We decided to throw the rest of it out after company left to prevent ourselves from eating it all :)

Tractor pull! Your son will love that. I'm trying to find some additional places we can go see fireworks for July 4th. A few places have them early. My daughter loves fireworks!

Too funny...there is fireworks at this one, but we won't be staying! My son is terrified of fireworks! Too scary! Maybe in a few years things will be different. LOL!

I'm telling you, you are doing better than I would because there would be no cake left and I'd have gained. Have fun at the festival!! We can't even do fireworks until the week of the 4th here. I'm behind on my gardening too, but hopefully this weekend we'll be able to catch up.

Oh no! I can understand why little ones are scared of fireworks, they are so loud. Luckily neither of mine were. My son's first fireworks, when he was 1, he slept through!
