I have been sick all of this week and unusually, for me, I have been ravenous and craving carbs and not just any carbs, I have been craving crap that I KNOW that I can't have.
Even though I haven't given in, I haven't really been good at staying within my calorie limits. Oh and I've been eating those stupid Atkins bars that my fiancee has a stock of.
It's made no sense. Until today. When I called my nutritionist kind of freaking out and then found out that the cold medicine that my Dr. prescribed for me is loaded with high fructose corn syrup.
Which makes me want to cuss. A lot.
But it's okay. Tonight is my last dose and I'll be back on track tomorrow.
STUPID EFF'N COLD MEDICINE!!

The challenges life throws at us is just a test Toni, appears you've passed it with flying colors! You do need to get better, that's the main thing right now, once the meds are gone you can get things moving, again. Hang in there girl, these are the types of quests you'll face from here on in on this new way of life. Don't let it stop you from becoming the healthy great person you are.
