davidsprincess's Journal, 01 Sep 19

From August 1 to Sept 1- down 7.6# This is 2 pounds less than I set my goal so I am fairly pleased. Daily average calories= 1,746 with the lowest at 724 and the highest at 4,670. (Yikes). Went to lift 27 out of 31 days- usually for an hour but some only 40 minutes due to work issues. Across my top fat roll I have lost 1/4" for a total of 8.5, down 1.25 inches across navel for 7.25 total, down another inch from hips for 9.25 total lost, down .5 on thighs for total of 5", down 3/4" from calves for total of 3.5 lost. Chest, forearm, bicep stayed the same. Non scale victories- endless compliments from friends and co-workers. A random lady at a garage sale yesterday said "Wow- you've lost a lot of weight. You look great." No idea who she is but our town isn't huge so I assume we are at many school events together since she asked how my daughter was liking high school. (I am TERRIBLE with faces). Ran up the stairs the other day and hubby said he assumed it was one of the kids. Can take my wedding ring off for the first time in 15 years- but I don't know that that's a victory. Someone at church saw me from behind and thought we had brought a visitor. 2 old men at church said I looked great and I'm hot... that actually grossed me out and made me uncomfortable but I don't think they meant anything by it- or I am very naive. Next goal was supposed to be my wedding weight but I think this is my wedding weight. Not finding any clear record but 2 days after our wedding I weighed 194. My lowest recorded weight during my adult life is 184.5 Nov 18, 2004. Goal for October 1 is 189. Thankful for FS's calorie counter. My life is forever changed! Eating what I want and making sure my daily average isn't over 2000 for the month. So easy!

Amazing progress. I'm still "stuck" in those last 2Kg that I just can't seem to get off of me (because I can't stop overeating :P ) Keep it up, almost there!

Thanks immort! You can do it! Truth be told, I'm not almost there. Ha. I'm getting close to my first goal but my ultimate goal is to be 150ish. I am not looking forward to changing my goal and getting a red line. Does that sound silly? 😬

Wow what an awesome post. Congrats! You reminded me I should start measuring myself because sometime the progress is about inches not lbs on the scale. I can’t weight until I reach my goals (word play WEIGHT vs WAIT intended! 🤪)💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽
