I like this post. I have been trying to lose 30 pounds for several years, but I keep going to carbs. I just can't remember not to eat them plus it seems that everything I want has carbs. I tried Keto, but I need a carb and I don't want to eat a lot of fat. I do salads too. I lost 17 pounds, plateaued at 187, now its coming back up to 194 yesterday. I don't know what to do to keep it off. I love to eat and I do know when to stop eating, it's just that I like the carb foods. Any suggestions, for me. I am 65, bad knee, can't walk too much at a time, hate exercising. So, what's an old lady to do?

skinnydebbie013,
What do you mean "what's an old lady to do?" You kick ass by being the best you possible! Even if you don't do anything different. The fact that at 65, you still care says a lot. You are still a beautiful lady, so embrace your beauty and place a higher level of value on yourself as you confront your daily nemesis carbs! Every once in a while, fool him by rejecting his delicious but temporary satisfying emptiness.
Remember ...no matter how many times you fall, get up one extra time!
I wish you all the best.
