I knew today would be a calorie-fest. It’s our son’s 20th birthday, so we go out to eat (Pasta House) and have chocolate chip cookie cake. And my back’s hurting today so I can’t go walk. I’ll go do my physical therapy exercises in a little bit, but otherwise I won’t have any exercise to help offset all the calories. I was fine with planning for this splurge before it happened, but now that everyone’s gone home I just regret it... Tomorrow I’ll be back to eating right. There is a winter storm advisory for later tonight, which helps explain why my back hurts. But I’d feel so much better mentally if I could walk.
