I stuck with the plan 100% and still gained. I do miss recreational eating. I miss eating chips/popcorn while watching tv. I miss accepting food dates. On the flip side, a coworker I haven’t seen in over a year said yesterday he barely recognized me and I looked like a lost a lot of weight! Week 5 of keto :) The weight is coming off slower this round. Last time lost 12 lbs in 5 weeks, this time 7 in almost the same amount of time. I have 3 more lbs to get to my low weight in Dec. Was it worth the 3 week gorge? I think so 😋😋😋 I ate everything I craved to an excess which made me realize 1. It doesn’t taste THAT great 2. It was my diet that was making me feel tired and sick. Once I get to 110-115, I plan to maintain by sticking with keto on maintenance calories. If I crave a donut, I’ll have one and not stress.
