I've attended some yoga classes that focus on the hips - they usually include this move. Does feel good. Also for the abs I've seen leg lifts from this position.

How on Earth do you get your legs up on the wall? I think I'll stick to hiking the icy Ottawa streets every day. It's a workout getting into snow pants, boots with grippers, sweaters, balaclava, extra toque, down coat, double mittens and then slogging the icy/snowy roads. Don't get me wrong--I love my daily walk and feel energized the rest of the day. The crows flying over keep me good company.
