Doing some mental training again while doing laps around my rec room drinking coffee. 8000 to 10,0000 steps is mandatory in my world everyday!! 😉🙏🏼

I NEVER let myself go under 10 000 steps. I’m a busy woman and average 18 000 to 23 000 daily! 😊

Lol I started at 5000 and worked my way up which has become easier but today is my rest day from working out and I always get my steps in just to help keep the calories down. I sort of look at it as something is better than nothing on rest days lol because I could workout 7 days a week no problem I love it that much, especially once you see results, it becomes an addiction for me. I just like keeping my momentum going 💪🏼😉👊🏻 Thought I posted a pic of myself before lol, guess not but yes I’m real lol 😂

It is! I own a cleaning business. Steps come easy really, and I don’t say that to boast, my work is hard and physical. And I still manage a 5k five days a week and weight train 3 times a week. Like you, I’m also addicted. Love exercise and hard physical work, only issue is it sure works up an appetite! LOL

Thanks rschafer, glad someone likes my hat lol, my wife thinks I’m nuts for wearing it but the fact is I’m bald and having lower body fat, boy do I get cold fast lol and we don’t even have snow yet here in Williams Lake. 😳😂

I need to start walking. I'm only eating about 1800 calories a day of healthy food, and keep my carb intake at a minimum, yet I am only losing a pound or two a week. However, I admit I am not as physically active as I should be, and sit behind a desk too much. Now that winter temperatures have arrived in my part of Canada (eastern Ontario) I'm not too keen on walking at minus 10c degrees. However, right after Christmas I will be in Florida for 4 months, and then I'll have no excuses for not walking daily. I'll have to take baby steps though, because walking just a kilometer, both my hip joints start to hurt lol. However, they say no pain no gain and I'm hoping the pain will subside the more I push myself. My goal is to work myself up to a 4 or 5 kilometers "daily".... Hope I can do it...but I am determined to give it my best shot. I only have another 25 lbs to reach my goal...and I'm really being careful of what I am eating. Nice to see some other Canucks in here. Have a great week. 😀

Coffee and a warm hat. Nice look CanuckChris. My sister in Victoria wears her Smartwool neck warmer in the house and I keep cozy in my sheepskin slippers and boiled wool sweater here in Ottawa. My hips and knees used to hurt too D00dy63. I started walking a few minutes several times a day and have now built up to 10,000+ steps. I divide my steps into several walks a day to protect my joints. Of course losing some weight has helped the knees too. It's hard to walk outdoors now so that's great that you'll be in Florida for four months. I bought some nice New Balance running shoes with a wider platform and those have helped incredibly with foot, knee and hip discomfort.

Thanks trillium1, guess I can’t hide the fact I’m a Canucks fan lol. My dad lives in Victoria and Grandma lives in sooke, was just over there two years ago for my grandma’s 100 birthday, love Victoria but love a warm head and body more 😃

Thanks for the encouraging words guys. I plan on getting some serious walking in, the moment I get to Florida. Still keeping my calorie intake at 1800 a day, and even though I find myself getting bad hunger pains between meals, my willpower has been good so far. Drinking LOTS of water as well, which seems to bloat me though, even if I do pee a lot.
