Fasting a.m. BS = 160; weight = 174 It is rainy and stormy out today so I can't go for a walk and I don't want to ride the exercise bike yet because of the sciatic nerve. Was going to clean out hall closet but started feeling poorly. Did not eat anything rest of day and didn't clean out the closet! Evening glucose 116 and weight 172.9 Ate slice of cheese at bedtime, skipped Januvia. Totals: 1118 cals; 77/10/13 macros; net carb 20.82.

that sciatic nerve problem is so bad, my younger sister had it , my brother-in-law, has it. yesterday my total calories was 1286, which I was pleased with. logging in what I eat today.

Good success with your calories! And logging in what you ate sure helps. Sometimes I feel like cheating and not writing it down, but it would just be me I was cheating!! I am feeling much better today and not a twinge from the sciatic nerve. I don't know if it is the turmeric that is helping or the magnesium, or both together, but things are improving daily! We were in town this morning and I had to go down the candy aisle, but I wasn't tempted -- I bought some pork skins to keep from eating candy. Those were fulfilling.
