This morning I ate 282 calories in cookies and cupcake and I do not feel guilty because I enjoyed them, I feel guilty when I pay 200-210 of my calories on these tasteless protein bars, there are priorities, and I know mine haha

I believe so. 😂😂They don't taste "too bad" but they have to many calories, I like my healthy food low in calories

No matter how LOW the "sugar" content says on the label, I always get a 'sugar spike' from them that "hangs around" all day :( Quest protein cookies are the worst. I am going to dump $30 worth of them that I still have in the pantry in the trash right now (now that I think about it). (Sigh).

Agreed! After an unsuspected drop yesterday. Went out last night and had a couple beers and bunless burger at S&B Burgers, then proceeded to finish off my lovers salad and onion rings! Life is good! 😇

Adefwebserver I will do the same, the only good thing about this is the "protein" I ate one of them last weekend and I was still hungry .

Interesting. I do ok with stevia sweetened quest bars with high fiber count. Not the new fancy ones. I also found vegan No Cow brand that does not set off the sugar monster in me. I tolerate stevia and monkfruit but can’t do Sucralose or aspartame at all.

Yes, I saw your protein picture, I can eat them or drink the shakes but I still want to eat more 🤔

@Swedishblondie - The bars may be different. The cookies have a massive 40 carbs that is suppose to be offset somehow to 2 net carbs. No huge bs spike but two days later I always gain weight all others things being equal.

Yeah, I don't look to protein bars for my treats. I look to treats for my treats and fish, eggs, and meat for my protein. I guess if you do a lot of working out, a protein boost might be needed, but whey protein would be what I'd go for if I were in that position.

LZ for example if we have to eat 3,000+ calories per day, I don't see a problem but we can not eat that much every day and still lose weight, so , only Chris and Diablo 😐

Not understanding the issue. Whey protein isn't high in calories.

Glad you enjoyed your treat! I find that when I have a treat I am less likely to overeat other foods.

whey protein is not , but as I don't have problems with my protein intake from chicken, eggs, beans, rice, etc. I do not need protein shakes or bars
