Hello,I need some advice. Lately I’ve been very obsessed with my imagine and very obsessed with losing my last 6lbs. Im 5’4 and weigh only 114 but I’m dying to get down to 108. I still feel very big when I look in the mirror and I see so much fat on my body. I’ve considered going lower than 108, but I know it’s not healthy. Does anyone know if I might have body dysmorphia? :(

It is hard to diagnose or label people without a medical degree. But I would think at your height and weight feeling so big and obsessed is not healthy. I do find something about counting calories triggers an obsession in some people including myself that can go too far. Maybe if you post a pic you can get opinions from people. At least you would know people don't see you as big. Just an idea.❤

Like HomeSlice said I don’t think is healthy obsessing over your body image. It’s ok to want to look good and be fit but if you think you are having trouble being happy with what for the rest of us would be a pretty healthy weight then get help. There’s nothing wrong with that. I love that we can post here and feel like somehow someone is going through the same or something similar. Just do what’s best for you but remember we only have one body and we have to learn to love it and nurture it ❤️hugs :)

Of course! Gosh how creepy do I sound encouraging you to post pictures, oh! Best of luck to you. The numbers say you are very thin. Trust them. Numbers don't lie.

Sadly, societal pressures such as media, magazines, etc. influence the way that we think we should look. These expectations are unrealistic and dangerous. Keep in mind that photoshopping contributes greatly to the images we strive to emulate. A woman is supposed to have some meat on her. At one time, a thin woman was judged as “sick looking”, and it was normal and socially acceptable for a woman to have love handles and a healthy amount of body fat. I’m sure you look beautiful just the way you are.

Thank you💞 Yes unfortunately I’ve been aspiring to look like these models for years. I thought once I lost weight I could potentially look that thin but now I know it’s not healthy. I hope my mindset changes soon
