Lost a tiny bit! At least I dropped below 182! Yay for me! Today I did my morning routine fasting BS test (157), carried out the trash (usually my husband's job but he is taking a cow to the livestock auction) picked zucchini and Swiss chard, watered the garden, then fixed my Keto coffee and cheese stick breakfast. I don't feel hungry, I feel energetic. Going to do some laundry, shower, head to Walmart to lay in some avocados, non-breaded chicken strips, and hamburger. Plan for lunch is adding fresh sweet peppers to cole slaw I fixed yesterday, with a side of chicken. I WILL ride my stationary bike this afternoon and maybe? clean house while my chief messer-upper is gone. Feeling best I have in several weeks and ready to spend some energy! I do have a couple of articles I must write today for our library newsletter, so guess I'll have to put in some computer time somewhere!
Felt my BS dropping at Walmart, so ate some string cheese and drank half a Bragg ginger spice apple cider vinegar drink on the way home. BS was 125 when I got home. Now that I've learned to eat Keto, I need to watch for hypoglycemia. Seldom troubled with it before. I didn't much like the Bragg drink, so added an individual packet of Great Value sf cherry pomegranite drink mix to it when I got home. Was shocked to see the serving size of the individual packet was 1/2 packet. I think that's pretty sneaky!! Improved the taste of the Bragg drink, but added 10 calories instead of 5!! Ate cole slaw, bacon, and cheddar cheese for lunch at 2 p.m.
