Crazy...i went dark on this app quite awhile ago after steady substantial weight gain. As noted months ago my move to vancouver island and my first place with no kitchen precipitated weight gain up to 263 before aggravated hernia pain due to the weight gain, months of wearing stretchy exercise pants at work was enough motivation and the reality of being 60 setting in convinced me it was time to get back on plan. Ironically, as I hit a plateau of 225.2 last week, I realized this morning as I finally broke the plateau, that I was on this same plateau May 26, 2020! Very different way to get to it though. back then it was following a decline led by a lot of fasting and keto. This time its led by a combo of Saxenda and keto. i honestly am not convinced the Saxenda is working anymore at this point (started it on feb 19) but there is def a guilt factor when you know that it costs 450 per month for a subscription (thankfully my medical plan covers 90%). i'm eating keto aside from the occasional cheat day, proud that my working 6 days per week is not interfering with cooking proper meals (albeit i'm reminded how expensive it can be to eat keto especially these days). trying to buy meat only when i can get it on sale now). i get some good walks in especially with the spring weather warm up here, but realized the other day..I need a hobby. i just work, sleep, walk...watch too much tv and think too much about food. So, I bought a bass guitar and amp on holiday monday and taking Fender Play online lessons. Distraction is good!
