Thank goodness spring/summer finally arrived. Lots of hiking. I haven't been on FS in awhile but I am still eating well and exercising and drinking lots of water.

Been a long time since my last journal. My weight is kinda stuck but my waistline has lost inches. You know how I know that? The shorts that just fit last summer are loose on me this season.I got to wear them twice so far. I have been hiking more than treadmill and healthy eating is second nature after all these years.
I have received a few compliments about my appearance such as "you are skinny" , "I didn't recognize you!"."You have such good willpower".
This journey is amazing and I am having the time of my life. No more sitting on the couch!
I bought a set of cross country skis not too long ago to get me out of the house during the long cold boring winter. Can't wait!

GO BUCKS!! I have to confess I am not feeling or seeing too many results from the AB wheel that I bought awhile back. I use it a bit so its probably the users fault not the product.
I have been wanting to focus on my ABS and toning. So I have been doing a lot of research. I was eating too much bread even if it was 100% whole wheat. So I quit that. Cheese and I don't get along well and I was overdoing that. No more.
Another thing besides wheat and cheese is toning exercises for my ABS. A gallon of water. I was thinking of buying a medicine ball or kettlebell but the cheap water I believe is working. I am also jogging on the treadmill. I can actually see " cuts " in my mid- section.
I gotta say it is a VERY HAPPY TUESDAY for The OHIO STATE BUCKEYES!!!!!

Wore my size 5 jeans yesterday!!!! Didn't take long to get into them. I always said I would NEVER be a runner. Well I lied. I started jogging on the treadmill like my son has been bugging me to do. That's what treadmills are for right? Its not pretty but it gets the job done.
We didn't get to our family Christmas tradition before Christmas so we are going to " the lights" tomorrow. In a huge park about an hour away they decorate with 1000s of lights. We haven't missed it since it began in 1997. We load up all the kids and grandkids. Drive through the park oooohing and awhhhing and listening to Christmas songs. Then we go eat pizza!

Like a inch from size five. I love buying challenge clothes. My weight is holding steady in the 130's but I don't think that tells the true story. My son showed me the right way to do crunches and they don't hurt my neck. He pushes me. Keeps wanting me to get good hiking boots.
