Reset. Redo. Starting over. No goal as well. I want to be in a place where when everything falls apart and gets off schedule, my weight doesn’t fluctuate. 2 words that will lead to my success... Meal Prep. I know it. I know shit happens. I know I need to have good food, ready to go so bad decisions aren’t made. WHY DONT I DO IT!! It’s so frustrating!!

I present the Deviled Egg Sandwich. I use to own a small vegetarian cafe in South Georgia, this was my best selling sandwich by far. 450 calories of worth it.

I work Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. I work outside in a farm, I take my 9 month old with me. It’s a job in a job! I don’t have time to journal my food, I have felt a little defeated. Yesterday, something awesome happened. One of our customers brought in a variety of sandwiches, chips, soft drinks, muffins, assorted chocolates, rice and banana pudding!! It sat on our tables all day. I had one muffin for breakfast, a turkey sandwich, no chips or drinks for lunch and me a little bit shared a banana pudding. Normally I would have grazed every time I walked but it. It’s mindfulness. Getting it in my brain that it’s not just a muffin, or half a sandwich. It’s a number. And I only get so many numbers a day.

New goal...
Staying on track when plans go to hell.
Yesterday was supposed to be my meal prep day. Instead the men taking out a tree in our front yard hit a water pipe and shut our water off. All day, no water. Couldn’t was dishes, couldn’t wash my hands! Couldn’t was baby bottles! What a perfect excuse to finish off the birthday cake from the day before, right? Well 2,000 plus calories later, I can say no. I had zero energy or drive from the sugar crash. Missed my workout last night,
today my scale is broken so I can’t survey the damage done. But, this is a sign. It’s never been about the number to me. It’s about being in control. Control of my emotions and not turning to food for comfort and consoling.
