SO, I have made it through the Memorial Day weekend without sabotaging my low-carb lifestyle! Nick224 and I celebrated a very quiet holiday amongst ourselves (and our dogs). Both of us have been suffering a horrible head-cold this weekend, so most of the time we just kept things extremely low-key. Today I made a FANTASTIC new dessert: low-carb, no bake, Peanut Butter Cheesecake. IT IS DIVINE!!!!! (and it was SUPER easy to make). Now, just to get this cold over and done with and I will be one happy camper.

YAY! Another new low! I was beginning to get a TAD frustrated this week because I hadn't seen ANY movement on the scale all week, even after doing 20:4 IF every day. Today for some reason, the scale decided it was time for me to see the fruits of my labor and give me some good news. Hope everyone has a fantastic Memorial Day weekend. Be safe and healthy!

Day 2 of 20:4 IF. It's been going well...I truly expected to be more hungry...but I'm not. I guess that means I have achieved deep ketosis. YAY!

So there it is...a new low for the week! YAY! BUT, the losses have slowed down despite eating clean. So I think this week I will give myself smaller eating windows and incorporate longer fasts. I will see if I can get this scale moving a bit quicker.

New LOW!!!! I went pretty low in calories yesterday (even though it wasn't originally planned that way. It seems it was a nice little re-boot to the ol' system. Nick224 and I are planning a trip to visit my parents over the 4th of July and we BOTH want to look our best. It's been about 1 1/2 yrs since we've seen them and it will be nice to greet them in our new and improved bodies. :) Hope everyone has a fantastic start to their week.
