OH no way LOL my usual Thanksgiving/Christmas weight gain. Even when I am eating super healthy and exercising me arse off. I gained ~3. something pounds which is typical. pfft. but it will come off.

here's a bit of good news. I was making sugar cookies which I love and hadn't made them or had them in years. Mucked up the spacing on the flat cookie sheet, as the butter began to melt and drop onto the elements... creating a small fire in the oven LOLOL. Easily put out but there was a distinct BBQ flavor to a corner of a cookie. Out they went.

Oh my.

Tonight is PRIME RIB which is a yearly tradition. Everything else has been unhealthy carb-loading.

I made (which sounds gross but is totally delish and a new Christmas Eve morning tradition) Biscuits with Devonshire clotted cream and jam. Long process but totally easy. When the biscuits run out, use it (and the creamy milk leftover) for baking.
