lost focus, went up on the scale, can't get off the sweet train! Strained a ligament in my right knee, so can't exercise for 10 days, on anti-inflammatory for swelling and pain...read and eat is what keeps me sane! This too shall pass!

OMG, all that stuff that was around and I am down! So what changed? Can I do this...time will tell. Have one more challenge, my Bday on Friday then I will focus, focus, focus!!

Christmas week, and then New Years and my bday..all put there to challenge! I am still trying to limit the sugar, but difficult with everything around...somehow carrot sticks and celery don't cut it.
We went for ribs on Christmas night, and that is what I had, just ribs, skipped the garlic bread and potato and cold slaw salads and the huge wedge fries, but alas, came the tray of chocolate or cheese cake and I just can not get enough chocolate, so be it. I had a glass of white wine at the cocktail party, no munchies!! and drank lemonade with dinner.
I will weigh in on Sunday, ugh!. Love you all, Happy New Year.

I have done better this week with less sugary stuff and no pre-dinner snacks, except one afternoon when we had a strawberry smoothie for lunch and I had a little bowl of popped corn around 4 pm. Did not keep up with the exercise, but did lots of walking and some gardening. As we get closer to Christmas it will be a little more difficult to maintain all this. Just have to focus and say NO!
