I've been feeling more positive lately. Doing much better but still working on my kid, he's about 60% now. I renewed my gym membership. I haven't worked out in what seems like forever. Now's a good time to start. I remember how I loved the feeling afterwards. I'm determined to get back to where I was mentally and physically. I've been reading a lot of positive quotes to get them stuck in my mind. I've never been a negative person so it bugs me that I look at everything negatively instead of trying to see the good. But they always said what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. Good lord I'll be Hercules. What me go!!!😄

My son finally gets to see one of the specialist today. Feeling positive about this. He can't see the pediatric GI Dr from UVA until September. That was their first opening. Today is the main appointment we needed for him so I'm excited. This is where he can finally start to heal. 👏 I haven't felt this positive since February. Now to get both of us back on track.
I did a lot better eating healthier yesterday. Go me!! I stayed under my calories for the first time in what seems like forever. Now to fit some time in for exercise. Back on track and not looking backwards. I have 35 - 40 lbs for my goal weigh so I'm not quitting. Hope everyone has a blessed day.

I got weighed at the Dr's office today. Guess my stress level was higher than I thought. I'm back on track even with the stress life throws at me. Not giving up, starting fresh and getting healthy. I can't take care of a sick son if I can't take care of myself. I keep telling myself positive thoughts. I've got this!😁

I've been MIA for a while not because I've given up but because I've had a sick kid that's been out of school since March 5th. I've done ok eating. Definitely not where I should be but I'm getting back where I want to be. Got my head screwed back on my shoulders again, I think anyways. I have 2 goals to work on. My weight for my health and throughout all this mess we're going through my dumb a$$ started smoking again. So I'm getting my head right not just for my son, but for me. I will quit smoking again. I did it before I can do it again. We're slowly getting my son situated which calms me down. Poor kid lost 12 lbs in 3 weeks, I can't even do that. LOL. But I'm back and I'm getting on track again. Hope everyone has been doing good. Missed being on here and supporting everyone. Now to get my head in the game!!😲😁

I'm determined to get healthier. That's my goal. So far I've lost a total of 72 lbs since I started. I got to a comfortable weight and I have been completely cigarette free for a week now. When I first decided to "quit" smoking I went from 1 to 1 1/2 packs a day to 3-4 cigarettes a day. Don't get me wrong, that was great for me. But those couple of cigarettes lead to me wanting more. So I decided that if I'm going to do it I will so it right. I haven't had a cigarette in a week. I think its harder than losing weight. Dear god I want to eat like a horse. But I'm trying to work around that. I will get this out of my system and focus again on losing weight. I've started working out a little more especially when I get cravings. I feel soooooooo much better. The weight gain is so worth quitting. But I try to keep in my head that I still have control over that. Hope everyone has a great weekend. Happy Easter to all!!🐰
