Ok, so I ate too many old school gumdrops (my groomer gifted me), I should just pass candy on but damn I love those things. I hadn't really tracked them but caloric value 3/4 lb (roughly) since 23 servings and 100 calories. So can't blame age or food for needle not moving down on scale (or digital numbers). I don't sit still as I walk at slow time like now (at work) about 4 miles a day. Seeing all the Ozempic and Wegovy and the "drug" of the moment, I almost want it --- just for a while. I am someone who doesn't even take aspirin-- I do patch supplements but seriously obsessing about getting on one of those meds.

Yesterday had an angry emotional eating moment. Purchased item online at Kohl's (haven't shopped there in 25 years), returned to store with receipt and they would only issue Merchandise Credit. I was livid, angry, argued, and just left. NOPE, didn't just leave and go home, stopped at French bakery. Considering all I bought, didn't go WAY overboard. Bread (crunchy ciabatta and French butter) and bought pastries but box still in fridge to give to groomer tomorrow. Can't believe the b.s. fighting when I got back and argued with customer service, called PayPal they say not their call. Whatever! I let it go later on. Will give cards to son. Just angers me what stores choose to do. Glad I am NOT a shopper.
