Well I'm back! I'm rebooting after gaining a lot of weight. I'm not happy about restarting this journey yet again but I know I will be happy with the results!

So I'm recording a weight loss. Yay! But I have no clue how I accomplished it other than by being fat adapted...? Wednesday of last week we had a company party so I splurged and didn't even try to attempt at recording anything. After that I started IF 16/8. That seems to work very well for me. This morning I went out to eat breakfast with a friend and ignored the Cracker Barrel biscuits and grits and stuck only with the eggs, bacon and sausage. I'm patting myself on the back for that! Ok so I've been reading a really great book that I purchased from Amazon called 'The Keto Diet' by Leanne Vogel. It offers several 'Paths' for maintaining a ketogenic lifestyle. It also gives very detailed instructions of LCHF and Carb-ups. This is a very well written book that takes into account your health concerns as well as your relationship to food. It also has incredible recipes which are clearly labeled for your path. I'm going to start including formal Carb-ups and definitely start listening to my body more. I have often felt guilty after eating carbs particularly in the evenings but this book actually suggests that! Check it out!
