I’ve been MIA for awhile now. I’ve been walking and that’s about all. Avoiding the scale but I checked about a month ago and the weight is up. Trying to recall how last year was so different. I did so well and was really motivated. I seem to have fallen off after I went to the Hosptial in December. I fell about three weeks ago on my face and right hand. I was jogging across a street around 920 pm and next thing I knew I was on my face with road rash on my face and in my mouth and my hand was really bad. Nothing was broken but it’s taking a long time to heal.

Trying to get myself back on track. Will do weight and measurements on Monday and think on some goals I want to worn towards. I haven’t been able to do much for exercise except walk for now. I’m almost scared to try and jog again. Wondering if I blacked out.

What have you dine to get yourself back on track whe you fall off the wagon?

Happy almost new year. I’ve slipped a bit the last while. Stopped weighing in. I will remedy that on Monday January 4 with a weigh and measure and trying to get brave enough to do photos. I had a crazy stressful anaphylactic experience at the beginning of the month and almost didn’t make it. I was hospitalized for a few days. I received three epi shots before we even left my house and a fourth one in the Hosptial after I turned blue and purple. I never thought anything like that would even happen to me. I am beyond grateful to be alive. I can say it had taken me a bit longer to recover from all the adrenaline and stress to the body. I’ve been very exhausted. I’m still walking a bit more the last week (finally). For January I decided to try a 30 day yoga and meditation challenge. So for the month of January I will be doing yoga, my body weight exercises and walking. I ordered some body bands but they are back ordered so I’m hoping to use them in February. Wishing you all a healthy, healing, successful year in 2021. Many blessings.

Remember your “why”. What is your “why” for wanting to reduce your weight. Sometimes I forget why I started. Several reasons but the one that most stands out is I signed up for weight loss surgery (nothing wrong with anyone who chose this was as I know it’s still a lot of work). I really don’t want to get the surgery and now with covid it will be pushed back even further. When I got my letter it said 24-26 months. So I said to myself, why not give this a real shot and try on my own. That gives me two years to do it on my own. So that’s my biggest why, I don’t want to get surgery unless I have to. My other reasons are to be healthier, have more energy, less pain, more flexibility, better sleep and be able to do more in life. I’d love to hear what your why is. Have a great day.
