I’m back. More health problems with medication and I’ve made the choice to go until the end of the month without a drink. That’s only 6 days but for me that’s one hell of an achievement so I’m gonna keep tracking my food and hope my nausea improves. Have to get healthy.

There’s something so satisfying about the scale being at an even number. It’s been a tumultuous month but I’ve lost 8 pounds. A few slip ups with the booze and drugs but when I’ve been sober I’ve been pretty in control. I almost caved and got BK after some hospital tests to comfort me but instead I went to this new sandwich joint by Trinity Bellwood’s and got myself some handmade fresh hoagies. Nothing fried on them just good ol’ flavour combos. I’m a big fan of this community on here you’re so supportive and I couldn’t have done this without all your inspiration. February is gonna be even better I can feel it!!!

Well I made an amazing Quinoa Black Bean Salad but I ate the whole fucking thing!! For some reason I have a ridiculous appetite today. I’m just sooooo hungry. I think I’ll have to get on the Exercise Bike this afternoon to help out with the hunger!!

Weekends have been really tough, painting the apartment has left no room to cook, It was Swiss Chalet this weekend and it actually made me sick. I’ve stopped craving Fast Food as much as I used to but the convenience, Door Dash is quicker than I’d I drove there myself! Plus my wife being pregnant makes for some last minute weekend food choices often Burritos. The month has been tough but anytime I slip up I’ve been getting right back into the groove at the start of the week. Just have to hope the good supersedes the bad.
