It's been a tough year for a lot of us. My year has been no different.
Today, I'm supposed to be ending a stint on the road as a backup singer for a friend from college.
I had an amazing Halloween planned. I was going to spend my birthday in London.
So I'm not doing any of those things.
I have spent this year really working on my emotiona, spiritual, and physical health.
I've addressed some latent issues that I've been putting off for years.
I'm better than I have been in a really long time.
So I'm bitterly disappointed but it's going to be okay.

We went to Santa Monica's farmer's market this weekend. I discovered honeynut squash and white-pink pomegranates.
The honeynut looks like a smaller butternut but it's super sweet. I'm a little mad that I only got two.
The pomegranates might be a little sweeter and less tart than the red ones.
I love CA.

Super tired and stressed. I'm about 500 orders away from being back in my turn around time of 15-30 business days - which is already long for me.
But. COVID.
I'm finally feeling the stress of the last four years starting to ease and I'm hoping for a return to decency and humanity.
I found out that a South Korean clothing company is using my logo on tshirts and hats.
Ny logo isn't trademarked and I specifically have not done that because of the laws that deal with trademark.
I'm both irritated and flattered.
Got into an argument about diabetes with the MiL who is currently doing keto (badly) and is mad because she's not losing any weight.
At the risk of starting another diet war, carbs don't cause diabetes. Neither does sugar. Fat does.
I'm not a big believer in diets anyway and I'm always wary of anything that promises a quick solution or that you can eat "anything you want and still lose".
I do eat anything I want as long as it fits into my lifestyle and activity level.
Anyway. Off to do all of the things.
