Even if I am quite digital due to my job, I actually love keeping a paper agenda. I note there people's birthdays and alcohol-free days now haha. Each day without alcohol = 5 euros, so I will wire up to 150/month to a special bank account XD I also tick the workout box and a good behaviour box. My kid gets 50 cents for every "overnight" stay with me which can be up to 6 euros/month.

Last weekend, it was a mickey pancake party, a lot of park activities, 2 new books, and a bit of the beach between 9 and 11.30 AM. Of course, SPF 50+, a hat + sunglasses.

My food has been great, I've been craving bananas in the past fortnight.
I recommend these gluten and dairy-free banana pancakes, a great postworkout meal, or just a healthy brekkie:
1/2 banana
1 egg
30g of unflavored collagen (any protein will work I think)
a little bit of baking powder
1 spoon of this mix https://www.amazon.com/Linwoods-Milled-Flaxseed-Walnuts-Almonds/dp/B003LRJ5LY
+ coconut oil for cooking

Topping = https://abbotkinneys.com/vegan-yogurts/greek-style
+ another spoon of the fabulous mix

39g of protein and almost 700 cal but it was worth it! Pancakes alone (no topping and no nuts) around 350 cal. If anyone tries this out, please share your experience :)

Proud to tick the box with my second gym session. It's a chain so I can go there both in my home town and at work. I wonder how much do you pay guys? There was an offer like they do every September everywhere so I saved 60 euros but still, it's 350e/year.

Anyway, starting slowly and mindfully, it's a 1h workout. I'll stick to this for a week or two to see how it goes. Felt that the deadlift was a little bit too much, it was a lighter bar + 2x10kg plates so I figured around 25kg. Very far from 40+ in the past, but I'll catch this at some point.

Food-wise, we like to cook as always, each his or her own meal XD I am still a huge fan of my blender, it allows me to have enough protein with the good stuff. I need at least 100g/day so it's hard unless I throw some protein powder in, preferably dairy-free.

There are days like this. Raining cats and dogs... you are running late but you are still motivated to visit that new gym during your lunch break. And then your work calls you "stay home, we were broken into last night, nothing left". The Universe has seriously listened to my laziness!

Other than that, I opened one of my beans cans that I got for my birthday (imported from the UK by my manager haha) and I bloody enjoyed my bacon/egg/beans. I have been reasonable; collagen and greens every day, haven't been beating myself for 2 squares of chocolate or too many crabs. Just average, with an occasional exemplary meal like that salmon/zucchini noodles, and overall have been happy with myself. I was surprised to see I was still looking decent with my clothes on XD, next step, find that damn gym as my joints have started to "click" and my back is "ticking" again (due to that old car accident).

Stay strong, FS, quite a few give me strength as well.

Hey FS, I am trying to get back on track. I've been eating like pork in the past few months (for my taste). So, I finally fixed my scale and I am surprised it's only +5/6 lbs. I had some serious mental meltdowns but I try to get my shit together and it seems like I'm seeing a little progress. I don't particularly focus on my weight but I felt I was too sausaged in my jeans last week and can see that my shape is meh as I haven't worked out properly since March. Time to fix it.

First, everything was closed till around mid-June and I am not strong enough to work out from home, I admire people who are. Typically, people were laid off due to COVID and I actually had even more work so my working days were rather 9-9 and sometimes I worked even on weekends. We are back to one remote day/week but I'd continue working from home but that is another story.

When the gym finally opened... well they didn't open the shower room. It's probably not a big deal for a lot of people but I need 1.5h to get to work, so it's 3h per day. My job is very draining and dense so my lunches are very short and I am too exhausted in the evening (+ 1.5h commute just after, it's killing me). The only way I found the possibility to work out is to leave at 6.15 am and take the first train, work out from 7.45 to 8.45 and then start my day at 9. Now, imagine going to work not showered?... I personally can't. I tried to go in the evening but 1) too many people and it gives me serious anxiety 2) the gym smells like dozens of bats have been decaying in the basement? 3) I need to wait for material or people are too close to me and are watching/need my material 4) all kinds of goofs try to talk to me. Well heck, no more.

The first step, more whole food. I am very happy with my new blender, it allows me to get some vitamins and collagen in the morning as it's hard for me to get enough protein if I don't consume shakes. And second, I'll probably try to find another gym where showers are open and people are less rude.

Added supplements: probiotics, a complex of daily vitamins, vit D (I am white as my toilets), fish oil = all those started in July, + added L-Glutamine, electrolytes, and CLA now just because I have them and they expire soon. My third goal: no or very little alcohol until November. I think I got overboard on vacation, was drinking every day. Detox now xD Who's with me?

I wish myself and everyone the best of consistency as motivation is not enough. Be well!
