I'm so very blue today. 2 years ago my 30 yr old parrot died. Been remembering her all day and it still hurts as much as the day she passed over the rainbow bridge. She used to wake me every morning by hollaring out "My-Ma, come here!"

I just ate a 3 oz plum. How can something so low in calories and so small contain so many carbs. Over 3 carbs per oz??? God's garden sure has a warped sense of humor. But it sure tasted good!

I went to my computer group meeting at the college today and found out that the evil scale on my kitchen floor was not telling me the whole story. The chairs in our classroom are securely mounted on the floor so they only swivel, you can't pull them out or push in. A few weeks ago I had to suck in my tummy to squeeze through the rows of chairs. Today I let my tummy hang out and was still able to get through very easily. Wow! I am losing inches, just thrilled that something is finally visibly happening. Only bad thing is my favorite navy blue crop pants are falling off me. Time to get out the sewing machine and do some alterations.
