Tried a morning smoothie with heavy cream and almond milk. Interesting flavour profile...
BUT. The large amount of fat definitely helps with the full feeling. Going to play with the ratio of almond milk and the cream until I hit the right balance for me.
Also, it was amusing to put it all in my blender bottle; I think all the shaking nearly made it into whipped cream. Oops. lol.
Lessons learned so far:
1. This strict keto thing really requires dedication. Still learning to balance the macros right, but aside from missing potatoes and rice (I really tried but I honestly can't do the cauliflower thing), I still have bacon and eggs.
2. Need avocados.
3. I need a viable substitute for Canada Dry Ginger Ale; that is one of the few things I can stomach dealing with migraine-induced nausea.

Killed the carb count today. Woke up late, forgot lunch in fridge, had liquid breakfast due to no time, had a so-so session at the gym... *sigh* Got woken up at 4AM due to a migraine and that just killed the rhythm of my entire day.
Write today off, push through my shift tonight and then get back to it tomorrow.
Positives from today:
1. Back is nearly fully rehabbed; thanks to my amazing chiropractor and my health insurance for covering it all.
2. Had a good session with my trainer at the gym. Despite some issues, still a solid session and I'm relatively happy with confirming that I'm getting back on track to hit some personal goals.
3. Sticking to my guns on walking to and from work despite the weather. Gives me great time to listen to music and podcasts. :)
