Finally started working out again, two days ago, at 12 weeks postpartum. I would have gotten back to it sooner but the combo of sleep deprivation plus an unpredictable life with a newborn just made it too difficult. It has been challenging after a 12 week break. But I am so excited to be getting back into it and I know it will get better with time. It’s wild how you can lose endurance and muscle memory so quickly! And my wrist strength and grip strength seem so weakened. But it feels so wonderful to take action and I’m feeling a little bit more like myself again. Not to mention taking 15 minutes for some desperately needed me time!

Lunch today is 1/2 albacore 1/2 salmon with greek yogurt and light mayo atop mixed greens ~ honeycrisp apple slices with natural peanut butter ~ fresh avocado.

Good morning! Breakfast today is homemade blueberry yogurt muffin (no oil, no sugar) ~ wild planet albacore with olive oil, nonfat greek yogurt, and light mayo ~ fresh fruit. Went for a gorgeous walk on this beautiful day!
