Now I've got a chellenge for the next 5 days, a friend is coming to stay with us. He is a carer for his wife, she is only 56. Three years ago she had an aneruism (sorry about the spelling) which has left her without any short term memory, she's now partly blind and without any hibitions at all. She's not a well lady. She always been a very fit lady, but she was a smoker, the doctors think this caused the damage. So for a week she is going into care to give our friend a bit of a break. He loves coming to stay with us as he enjoys home cooking, he now has to be the cook for both of them, but he says it's not the same. So tomorrow there will be bread in the house and some potatoes. I can cook potatoes for him during dinner, and he will be able to have bread at breakfast. I'm sure he be able to eat exactly the same of what we will be eating.

I'll probably lose my husband over the next few days to the snooker club! He's been there before and drank water! Unheard of a few months back.

Hope everyone has a great and successful weekend!

Yesterday I think I made a mistake, my lunch was quite 'T carb' heavy, I didn't realise that liver has carbs, so with the onion and 2 other veges I think devoured too many carbs over one meal. Result, I felt rather hungry in the afternoon, on top of that, I was in a 'couldn't be bothered' mood to preparing anything for dinner. Previously at a time like this I'd have prepared a couple of sandwhiches.

Unfortunately, my mind strayed a little and before I knew it, I was eating a peach! But before I'd eaten it all I came to realise that what I was doing was not planned...... so I only ate half. After eating an ounce of chedder cheese, I went to bed early with my Atkins book. I did do a ketostick test (I know it's not too accurate) and the result was that I was still in ketosis.

This morning is a new day! Went for my Thursday Zumba class - the steps felt a little smoother - I managed to find a spot on the floor that faced a brick wall and not a mirrored wall. lol

Came back and watched an hour of youtube clips http://lowcarbbetterhealth.blogspot.com/2010/10/big-fat-fiasco.html.

I've found that weighing on the wii isn't as accurate as it should be, maybe this was causing a bit of stress at the begining. The wii is good because it automatically keeps a log of your weight. But despite the board being an a tiled floor, in exactly the same spot, and standing on the board in exactly the same area, the results can be different. So I've resurrected the old scales which read more consistantly and accurately. The slight downside is that it is weighing about 2 lb heavier. It is much more important to be consitant than the lightest - so I'm not going with the old scales.

Over 14 days the old scales have shown a loss of over 1 1/2 lbs. That will do me... I'm chuffed to bits! So I have readjusted my weight logs on FS which makes the analysis a little weird, but not much.

While 'messing' I've noticed that my RDI is set to default which is set 'maintaining' weight, I've now set it to 'lose 1lb a week'. This makes such a difference to the diet calendar.

Lovely morning today ... hope you are having a good day too!

(BTW John is just half a pound off from being overweight - I'd settle for being overweight - I hate being obese!)
