Happily surprised with myself. Made it through 5 Live Love Party vids. Hubby laughed when he saw me dancing around to LLP Material Girl and asked about LLP Desposito that we used to dance to before I got arthritis. I told him I wasn’t sure if I could do it, I would try if he would do it too. To my surprise, I could do it! Not exactly the same as when I was younger, but not bad. Hubby was really stiff though. Have to remember what Live Love Party vids I did, because I don’t think I’m ready for the heavier ones like Heypa.

Day 3 of my week off. Haven't had a week off for a very long time, other than taking one week off last year for Christmas. I am enjoying it so much! It's so nice not having to race around or watch the clock. Still check in at work by checking my email and it's quiet so far. My boss had accused me of calling in to work to check on my staff, so she expects it. Sorry, but I'm not calling in on my days off. I only check if there is just one staff member in the building alone to see if they need anything. I just don't think it's good for one person to be alone for security purposes. I don't call if there's two or more staff in the building. They are adults and should be able to handle themselves. I was thinking of reminding them that we have special hours coming up on Saturday, but after the way I was treated, forget it. I'm busy using this week to practice being retired! Can't wait to finally get away from the "rat race" or out of the "snake pit."

So out of it this weekend due to the hostile environment setup by my boss. It was so bad that I came home with an upset stomach and my arthritis pain flared up. I don't understand why she does what she does. I do everything she asks. I really think it's age discrimination and she wants me to retire.

Finally gave up on babying myself and waiting for the hip pain to go away. Just can’t wait to rebuild myself. Been doing special warmup exercises for hip arthritis. Today I just felt like dancing. Yep, I did it. Found an exercise vid on YouTube with a bunch of old people like me. I tried their “Night Fever “ and made it through it by modifying the spinning part. Thought I’d try their “Dancing Queen “ vid…nope. No can do. Just couldn’t keep up with them, so I went to my favorite YouTube group…”Live Love Party.” So proud of myself. Danced to “Girl in the Mirror “ and “Closer.” It made me so happy.
